Wiring, Re-wiring & Upgrading:
Let us design your new installation system or modify an existing
one. Cables can be channelled into walls and re-plastered or if you
prefer we can use either plastic trunking or conduit with surface
fittings or flush mounted fitting. We can provide domestic heating
including, storage heaters, panel heaters, bathroom blower heaters,
water heaters for point of use or immersion heaters and electric and
power showers. Let us expand your electrical facilities by fitting
extra sockets, smoke detectors, cooker points, new consumer fuse
boards or earth leakage protection (RCD).
Why not overcome those inconvenient power cuts with a generator
change over switch or emergency lights to give 3 hours of light.
It doesn't stop indoors either! We also supply and fit outside
lighting, quartz halogen, metal halide and sodium discharge, which
can be switched on by hand, automatically or by remote control.
Maintenance, Testing, Inspection &
Fault finding
Faults can occur in existing systems for various reasons, such as
damage from animals, 'wear and tear' or DIY enthusiasts 'handy
work'! By testing your installation for faults, we can locate and
rectify them for your safety and peace of mind.
Electrical Design
We can design special circuits for different loads and functions. By
calculating all the necessary technical details we are able to
design systems that provide appropriate light levels, power sockets,
switching arrangements and emergency power supply for your home.
Should you require domestic electrical heating, we can also
calculate and design a system to meet your individual requirements.
Surveys
House purchasers can relax by knowing exactly what they are letting
themselves in for. Surveys involve testing and inspecting all the
circuits and listing the results of each circuit separately on a
certificate. As well as for new homeowners, surveys are also done in
conjunction with annual test and inspection reports or to assess if
increased load is available to supply new electrical needs, such as,
property extension. We also conduct surveys for litigation purposes
when there is a dispute about the state of wiring of another
electrician's installations.
Consultation
Full consultation is offered for proposed installations, problems
with existing systems and for help with extending existing systems
to ensure they meet your individual requirements. Analysis of
inspection reports & surveys enable us to estimate remedial costs
for substandard dwellings and to quote for new installations.
